NEW Product arrivals-Sept 28th-30th and Big Shot Draw!

Our shelves have been filling up this week. If you have not had a chance to come in to look at what has arrived, I am listing some of the new arrivals with some pictures here. Come in, check them out and be the first to be crafting with them!

Shimmer Sheetz: Fabulous sheets with an incredible shimmer! If you are looking to spice up your cards and projects, want a definite shimmer, these are for you. Here are some details about the Shimmer Sheetz: Shimmer Sheetz are an iridescent and metallic Mylar and it's endlessly versatile. You can use it for clothing, quilts, accessories and mixed media because it's garment quality (colorfast and washable). It's compatible with all companies' embossing folders and standard depth dies, peel off stickers, plus electronic cutting machines, most punches, and any paints, markers and inks that work on non-porous surfaces (including Tim Holtz's Alcohol Inks, Sakura Glaze pens, and COPICs). It's acid-free, lots of fun for scrapbooks, cards, party decorations, wreaths, flower arrangements, and more. Each pack of Shimmer Sheetz includes three 5" X 12"sheets. Just imagine the shimmer these will bring to your creations!
Be Creative Tape -Rolls and Sheets: This great doubled-sided tape is a tape that I recommend for strength. For all of your 3-D projects this is the tape you want. Great not only for adhering your cards and scrapbook layers together but the tape you want for 3-D prjects like boxes too!

Embossing Folders, Die Cuts and Stencils: 4 of the NEW Crafts Too folders just in time for Christmas have arrived. New Sizzix and Cuttlebug Embossing folders as well as a few of the NEW Spellbinders Die sets. We have also received a few Dreamweaver stencils and paste that we thought we were just pre-ordering....but they arrived!
Scor-Pal and Buddy as well as Cricut Mats: A replenishment stock of the ever-popular Scor-pal as well as the Scor-Buddy have arrived. We also received a replenishment stock of the 12X12 Cricut Mats as well as the 6X12 mats. Going quickly, so get your while you can!

  • Shimmer Sprays, Walnut Ink and StazOn cleaner in the new smaller spray bottle: We sold out of these so fast and had such good feedback about the Tsukineko Shimmer sprays that we ordered them back in. Feedback that we received about these: customers liked the smaller amount with a lower price point therefore able to get a wider range of colours all at once, the shimmer is fabulous and the mist is very fine, doesn't leave as much (if any) of a splatter unlike it's competions on the market. Also in are Walnut antique spray as well as the new StazOn cleaner in a small spritz bottle.

60% OFF area: To top off all of the NEW products in the store, we have created a 60% OFF area! Lots of great paper, Sizzix dies, stamps and a few accessories in this area.
I hope these products spice up your projects, card and scrapbook layouts and give you a new spark of creativity!

Stacey

Our BC CROP for Kids fundraiser in session!

Our 1st of 2 BC Crop for Kids Fundraisers are in session and goes until 9pm this evening! Here are some pictures of the day so far.

Mary Pauls and Hayley Glauser team co-ordinators for the BC Crop for kids from the mainland joined us to offer 3 make 'n takes by donation. Our attendees had a great time pitching in for the kids and made several make 'n takes.

Today's crop date landed on Ronna's birthday, so I baked some cupcakes last night and surprised her with a "birthday cupcake" at the crop. Of course, there were cupcakes for everyone as well. My daughter J'Naya had a hard time with me leaving the house this morning as I was taking the cupcakes with me. She was pleasantly surprised when I forgot the birthday candles and called for her and Keith to deliver them to the store. BUT, of course she had a plan. She was determined that she was not going to leave the store until we presented Ronna with her "Birthday Cupcake". As you can see, J'Naya was waiting along side Ronna, waited until everyone sang Happy Birthday....her plan..... to get a cupake of course! HAPPY BIRTHDAY RONNA! Hope you had a great day.

Our next fundraising crop for BC Children's Hospital (BC Crop for Kids) is Saturday Oct 2nd from 10am-9pm. If you would like to join us, please call to register 250-590-1266.
A big thank you to Robin and Marianne who surprised us with fresh croissants and 3 different homemade jams! YUM!!!

Although this has nothing to do with paper crafting, it is a very important issue as most of our customers are women! Do you know what is in your cosmetics? Your baby formula shampoo? Click on the link and watch the video, it will be an eye opener.

Breast Cancer Short Film

My cousin's daughter (young blonde girl) and her friend were asked to be in a short film about breast cancer. They are featured in this short film which will be screening at Breastfest 2010! Very exciting.

I thought this would be a good opportunity to remind everyone to go get their "free" yearly mammogram. Susan
