Another Mini X

Tomorrow I will be teaching again at Glanford Middle School. Being sick the last two days and a 12 hour crop this past Sunday, left me with tonight to complete and prep my projects. I am normally not a procrastinator, but I do work well under pressure!

Here are some pictures of the project that the 20 students will be doing tomorrow!

Pink Cat Studio - NEW Small Stamp sets!

I don't know if you had the chance to look at Pink Cat Studio's digi stamps? There are so many of them that I adore. But as a "rubber stamp" enthusiast, of course I would have preferred them as rubber stamps rather than digi.

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to talk some business talk with Melissa, owner of Pink Cat Studio. She was tossing the idea around about smaller stamp sets. I LOVED the idea, and discussed my suggestions with her.

Well, she has just announced that she is going ahead with the "smaller stamp set" idea and they will soon be on their way! These 3 main stamp images were amoung my top picks!

Check them out! Would you like to be one of the first to have these fabulous stamp sets? Just call or e-mail the store (250-590-1266 or scrappersanonymous@shaw.ca), leave all of your contact info, and we will put your requested sets aside for you.

Thanks,

Stacey

Consignment Stamps!

Wow! Our consignment area has been doing fantastic! We recently had new/gently used stamps brought in for consignment, so be sure to come in and check them out.

Here is a picture of the consignment area. Some stamps have been sold since this picture was taken only 2 days ago.
There is still room for many more stamps. If you have some stamps that need to be dusted off, consider bringing them in. The process is very easy: bring your stamps in, fill out the consignment forms and leave everything else for us to take care of! It can't get more simplistic then that! AND...you reap the rewards after your stamps sell (cash or product!).
Hope to see you consigning soon!

Mini X!

Tomorrow I will be at Glanford Middle School teaching at their Mini X! I had not heard about Mini X's until this year. They are extra-curricular mini classes.

I have been busy this evening prepping for this special day tomorrow. Cutting, Cutting and more Cutting.....for 20 students. Here is a picture of what my table looked like once I organized all of the pieces.

I will be helping the students make a chipboard tag that they can use as a bookmark, turn into a magnet, make it into a door sign for their room, or something special that they would like to use it for.

The kids will be sanding, sponging ink on their project, using the Cuttlebug machine to die cut their cardstock, as well as using ribbon. All this in a 1 hour limit....Wish me luck!

Here are the pieces finalized in their individual envelops and the project is shown on top. As you know, I have to be organized for my classes!

Stacey Rumsby
UPDATE!!!! The Mini X class went quite well....and believe it or not, some of the students were done 15 minutes ahead of schedule and some took the hour. All-in-all, every student completed their project, so I would say that was successful.
